Kobi Onyame is a Ghanaian, UK based Hip Hop/Urban artist, producer and songwriter. He describes his music as hip-hop with a fusion of his life’s influences and circumstances.

"I love that I am able to express myself through music. I grew up listening to a lot of Hip Hop and heard gospel and highlife from my parents and also pop, rock and dance from my friends…I like to mix it all up!"

He released his independent album Green Green Grasses on April 11th 2011. The album went top 30 in the UK iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap charts and received credible reviews from online blogs, tastemakers and music magazines.

As an artist, Kobi has moved from strength to strength playing live on stages at festivals including Glastonbuty, T in the Park, RockNess, goNorth and Wickerman. He has opened in concert for artists including Kanye West, Nas, Wu Tang Clan, Wiz Khalifa, Slum Village, De La Soul and many more. 

Collaborative efforts include the likes of Sway, Emeli Sande, DJ Dummy, Yasmin and others. His new album GLORY was released in November 2013 and features the singles 'The Real part 2', 'Went Too Far' and current single 'Call Out My Name'. 

Kobi is touring UK nationwide with ILUVLIVE in 2014 and gearing up for a new EP later in 2014/early 2015.
